Synthetic Oxford Dance Shoes for Adults by BeiBestCoat Review

These shoes are advertised as having "aluminum teeth". Our order arrived with no taps. They were just cheap black shoes. Came back and had to order another brand as I can't find men's tap shoes locally. waste of time! Buyer warning!

I'm in a production of Newsies (first time tap dancing here) and was very nervous about buying them. Two months of training and they're working fine and don't realize where they are. I ordered men's size 8 because women's size 10 would take too long. I think they sent a women's size 8 because I can't even put my foot in the shoe. :-( I would recommend buying a size or two bigger.

These shoes fit as expected. They ended up being the wrong shoes for the dance class my wife and I took. I think they would be great shoes to try if starting a dance that requires tapping. The return was processed quickly.

I had a hard time deciding whether to buy my street shoe size or not. Since I didn't use their size chart (in the listing photos), I bought my normal size. which was too little. I then ordered by measuring my foot with a chart and it fitted perfectly. (1/2 size too big for me). Great offer!

Very happy with comfort, cost, sound. Have only used it for a few hours so far. My only flaw is that when my heel stays on the ground and I tap my foot, the plastic sole touches the ground but the toe doesn't. The heel must be off the ground for toe contact to occur. I don't think Savion Glover has a shoe problem.

I bought these tap shoes for a gentleman from a musical I was doing. He's a first time tapper and these shoes were perfect for him. The toe box protrudes quite a bit from the sole, but this allowed my budding snitch to produce a more powerful sound more easily than a flatter shoe. The sole is very flexible - he was able to stand on his toes with no problems. A great entry-level shoe for the price and just what we needed for our musical!
