Description of BELEY Canmshaft Timing Locking Tool

Application: Allroad (BAS) 2002-2005, S4 Cabrio (BBK and BHF) 2003-2009, A6 Quattro (BAT ) 2004-2008, S4 (BBK and BHF) 2003-2008. Specifically designed for VW Audi 4.2 litre V8 R-CAT engines. Use for locking camshaft position and cam sensors rotor ring during installation of timing chains. Package includes camshaft locking bars and TDV lock pin. Equal to VW Audi Factory Tool OEM T40047, T40046, T3242 & T40058.

Not Worth Buying best in my review

This locking tool did not work as expected when used on automotive engines. Although it appears to be of good quality, it did not correctly align the timing of the engine..

Did the job well for timing belt tools

They did the job for my B6 S4 timing service. There is no need for two reluctor alignment tools in the kit as only one is required at a time. But it worked and was a good price.
