Disappointing Camshaft Locking Tool

When I tried this tool, it just didn't work as expected. The holding mechanism was too weak and it kept slipping, making it almost impossible to lock the camshaft in place.

Good timing kit: Engine tools

Includes everything needed to fit a timing belt to a 4 cylinder Ford Ecoboost and I believe there are some extras that some other options or other types of timing can cover. .

Quality Camshaft Alignment Tool

This is a really good set. Especially for the price. It has all the tools you need for a 1.5 liter Ford Ecoboost. The only problem was that the Harmonic Balancer Alignment Tool needed some tweaking to align it correctly, but it was easy to do. The cam cover locating pins did not have to be removed to use the tool. The phaser alignment tool is correctly labeled and well aligned. I repair these engines daily. This tool is worth the money.
