So far, so good. - Computer accessories

So far, so good. I use this to easily switch between a Unix PC (real Unix, not Linux) and a Windows 2003 server. I don't have a mouse with a scroll wheel on my system, so I can't tell if this is a problem or not. I'm a bit taken aback by the guy who said he couldn't figure out how to plug in the toggle switch. There are only 4 ports on the box and 3 of them are mouse/keyboard/monitor. There was a plug and an element for connecting (and the plugs turned out to be the same size). It seems to work

broken and very little guidance or product support

The flap just didn't work. There was no support, the remote component was unreliable, and I didn't get enough information about Flip to troubleshoot the issue myself. I am an independent contractor who has a client who recently "upgraded" their system, meaning some parts of their computing platform require Vista, some require XP. As a workaround to this situation, I bought a Belkin Flip so I can switch between Vista and XP computers (desktops). Installation was very easy and quick as it is…

Belkin F1DF102P compatible with external components

I have a Logitech PS2 keyboard and USB wireless mouse. I plugged in a USB to PS2 adapter to connect a mouse and it worked like a charm. I can't imagine using this without a remote, so I would suggest that option. That works great. Allow easy file sharing in a folder on any (networked) computer and you can share files as easily as monitors. I wish I had bought one sooner.

  • certified

A good product! at Computer & Accessories

This product is very convenient for sharing a monitor and keyboard between two computers. I had a little trouble setting it up, but the tech support was great and I got it up and running quickly.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • For a long time

It was, it's almost.

Unlike some other reviewers, I found that all mouse and keyboard functions worked fine with this switch. Initially, some special keyboard operations didn't work, but after some reboots and keyboard resets, everything works well enough. I also use a 27" 1080p monitor and it looks good. People should keep in mind that for a USB or wireless mouse or keyboard, there are other Switch models designed to do the job. Using adapters is always risky. The only adapter supported for this product is a VGA…

  • Always liked

too many cables and hated for buying

too many cables and hated for buying. Too bulky screen for normal daily use. Still laying around at home. I hate throwing or using it. Storage even after 8 years without use or purpose.

Pros
  • . Many positive emotions
Cons
  • upgradeable

PC & Roland Hard Disk Recorder

Works perfectly! After much searching I found that this is the only switch that works between a PC (XP) and a Roland VS-2480 hard disk recorder. I use it to switch mouse, keyboard and monitor. Even the scroll wheel works on PC. It also works (toggles) when one of the devices is off without blocking the other. I had no problem getting each device to find it immediately. It's also nice to have a dedicated Shift key instead of using keyboard hotkeys, which can get annoying and tiresome. Pastel…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor problems
