I put it on my desk (still in plastic wrap) by the window and came back 5-10 minutes later to find the pad looked like large potato chips (deformed). a few books on a flat surface, but that didn't help much. Bad product. When I opened the package, I was greeted by a strong chemical smell. I tried washing it with soap but I still smelled like chemicals. After a long cleaning, I managed to get rid of the smell only from the top (blue part). I left it on the table to test it with my new mouse.
