Short lifespan in mouse pads and palm rests

While it appears to be very well made, with no creases, creases or plastic warping, it didn't last long. I bought two. After about 3 weeks of moderate use of the Logitech optical mouse, I noticed that the speed of movement around the screen became erratic. After inspecting the mat, I saw that the sliding area where the mouse made contact with the mat was smooth. Mouse optics don't work well on smooth materials. I rotated the pad 180 degrees and managed to last another week before replacing it…

Cheap feels cheap

This is possibly one of the worst mouse pads in terms of feel and sound. I didn't even know mousepads could be bad, I thought they were all just mousepads. The sound my mouse makes is like a mouse walking on the sidewalk. It technically does the job, but it sounds so bad and feels so cheap. The top layer is not fabric but a hard plastic coating. Again, I didn't know a mouse pad could be LOUD. It's amazing how bad it is. If you need a mouse and only have $3, buy it. If you can somehow afford to…

MUCH better than first impressions

When I first opened up the Revain box and pulled it out I was initially disappointed but upon use I found that it worked slightly better than mine first impression suggested. Since a mouse pad can be so cheap, my expectations were met a bit, but even with my expectations, I was a little dissatisfied with how light the foam is. The listing mentions neoprene as a material, but it's certainly not the dense, rubbery neoprene I was expecting, more like a very lofty, lightweight foam that's only 1/8…

Good for the price of office and school supplies

The price doesn't bite - but it's not quite what I was looking for. I should have read more carefully, I thought it was a soft fabric like a top, but it's a thin layer of strong (but flexible) plastic that allows the edges to buckle if you rest your wrist on a table with a mouse. it can be annoying. However, I didn't appreciate this as it was my fault. I'm marking it because it's not on my desk. One side keeps wanting to curl up and I haven't managed to lay it flat since it arrived. I've placed

Wow! It turned into giant blue potato chips!

Never had the opportunity to use it. I put it on my desk (still in plastic wrap) by the window and came back 5-10 minutes later to find the pad looked like large potato chips (deformed). a few books on a flat surface, but that didn't help much. The pillow is so deformed that it is impossible to use it. The surface must be thermoplastic, very sensitive to temperature. I think it would be fine in a room with no direct light and away from any direct heat source. I strongly recommend not putting a…

Strong chemical smell, jagged edges. Terrible product!

Bad product. When I opened the package, I was greeted by a strong chemical smell. I tried washing it with soap but I still smelled like chemicals. After a long cleaning, I managed to get rid of the smell only from the top (blue part). I left it on the table to test it with my new mouse. It has sharp edges on all sides (see photo) making it awkward to use. As soon as I took it off to write this review I could smell the chemical on my desk. I then had to clean up the table as my daughter uses it…

Works but is noisy and the mouse runs around

Just like the dog on our hard laminate, the mouse runs around on the surface making a lot of noise and not calming down at all. , Explanation: This mouse pad has a hard surface, not the usual cloth surface. As you move the mouse over a surface, its feet make a noise - not much, but in my very quiet environment it's noticeable and almost as distracting as chalk on a blackboard. (But who remembers blackboards anyway?) Also, because the surface is slightly reflective, the mouse pointer seems to…

Hard inflexible mouse pad

This is cheap quality. I didn't believe Belkin made inferior products, but I'm on the mend. The top of the pad feels stiff like it's made out of cheap plastic. The mouse does not slide on the mat. Revain sent me the mousepad in an envelope that was too small and left a permanent crease on the mousepad; the same crease you would get if you bent hard plastic. I looked at more expensive mouse pads and couldn't decide between several brands. So I went for a cheap mouse pad until I had to decide…
