Bell Qualifier Full Face Street Helmet - Unisex-Adult Motorcycle Gear Review

Bought this helmet last year. Last week I crashed at 40-45mph and landed headfirst on the road. This helmet saved my face and possibly my life. I highly recommend.

Complete with transparent visor. I love how they justify this by adding "Note: additional visor shown" at the end of the description. Am I wrong in assuming I will get what is in the photo? The dark one pictured is $40 so now I have to spend more and wait for it to arrive. It's absolute suicide to drive to work during the day with your visor clear. My last call is goods. Report this ad to Revain. Unacceptable and misleading.

The only problem I had with this helmet was that some of the chin pads sometimes popped out due to poor quality fasteners. Otherwise it's exactly what you want in a helmet: it protects your head very well (see photo - graphic added to black helmet). In general the helmet is good but. The helmet comes with a loose vent which is very easy to fix and took me a minute to adjust. The left side of the visor pops up almost every time I rotate it from open to closed. I have tried loosening and tightening the left visor mounting/quick release screws, but the result has neither improved nor deteriorated. I bought this helmet in store after trying it on and found it to be a good fit and comfortable. I've only worn the helmet once and my issue with the Call Qualifier is that the face shield doesn't snap and stay closed. Riding the bike at freeway speeds, a simple head check at over 55 mph would cause the visor to open. Normal helmet for the money. Good fit and very light. Bell could have spent a little more money on the top vents as they are a bit flimsy. My only other complaints tend to be related to the brand of the helmet. Please offer tinted visor and chin guard as standard equipment. All my helmets fit my head perfectly but THIS helmet is way bigger than all the others. My second best helmet is also Bell and looking at their other products it seems to be a common thing. I have a big head so I order XL and I understand that some companies require you to get L or XXL but then again nothing compares to the plus size of these things. I've stopped counting how many helmets I've bought/tried on over the last few years to find that elusive "perfect” fit. At the moment the Bell Qualifier fits best (I have a large head, significantly longer than the "medium" oval but wider than the "narrow" oval; very difficult to find a good fit).
