Durable and economical.

I was looking for a sturdy wooden dryer. Most I've found have a very small base and tend to tip over if you put too much weight on a bar. This rack solves this problem perfectly. I haven't had any problems with tips. Since I live alone, I don't make a lot of pasta at the same time. I love the fact that I don't have to use all the poles but can set everything up the way I want it. It can be easily disassembled and cleaned if necessary. For the price, this shelf is a great bargain and a great…

Good for the Price Best in Pasta & Pizza Tools

For the person who cooks pasta just for fun, this dryer will do more than enough. My family is just me and my husband, so I don't cook a lot of pasta at once. This stand is a bit flimsy and I'm afraid it won't fit more than one serving of spaghetti noodles at a time. It's prone to tipping over and you have to be careful when moving it after putting noodles on it. It is very easy to assemble and then disassemble to store in any small space. The price is excellent compared to other pasta dryer…

We got a large wooden pasta rack and it looks nice and comfortable. It's well made and attractive and should be of great use to us. However, one of the staffs was made from a portion of the tree that was weak due to the discontinuity of the fibers. Also, this rod was snug so the weak part of the rod broke when I twisted it to fit the hole. I am attaching a photo so the company can see the weak part where the rod broke. I would be grateful if they would send me a new rod. Attached is a photo of…

Holds lots of pasta

It was easy to assemble and most of the bars (including the center stand) are straight. A dowel shank is slightly bent, but not so bad that it needs to be replaced. I used it last weekend when I painstakingly cooked chicken soup from scratch and then made my own pasta (really, cook broth or cook pasta, don't do both, no chicken soup is worth two days of your life!). I made about 8 batches of pasta and it all came together (even though I made my pasta insanely long, I'm still learning how). Not…

Easy to assemble

This pasta dryer consists of a large, solid base, a central pole that screws onto the base, and four narrow wooden poles that fit into the pole. All of the wood pieces felt smooth, even the edges, and I was able to assemble the frame in less than 2 minutes. The pins provide enough space to hang the paste to dry. I made the fettuccine in my new pasta maker (NutriChef Electronic Noodle Spaghetti Digital Pasta Maker, White) and then hung it on the rack mounts to dry. The stand remained stable and…

Teaching an old dog new tricks

I'm not a newbie to pasta making. Growing up in an Italian family and being a second-generation American, fresh pasta made up a big part of our Sunday lunches. I've been making fresh pasta for more than decades than I'm about to reveal here. The reduction to science was a "process". When I got married I continued the tradition by upgrading my machine twice, first from my grandmother's old cast iron machine, straight out of the Old Country, to a pasta machine and in the last 15 years to an…
