Quite difficult to use

Love the size of this shredder/grater and that it has a little plastic holder to keep it in place while in use. I've used it twice on lemons and it creates a nice long strip of zest, but instead of grinding smoothly and continuously it shakes up the whole lemon. I've used it by holding it vertically and laying it horizontally and my nails broke both times due to the shaking. My guess is that the sharp ends aren't sharp enough to slide smoothly. I have another bowl, long and thin, and it glides…

Where's the spoon/fork for the pasta?

Excellent length. Feels strong in hand. Good in the dishwasher. All round great product and I would buy it again*. It looks great and feels comfortable. It cleans well. If you're just looking for a zester/grater and don't care if it goes with anything else, this is a good buy. But I want a FULL set that fits. After buying spoons, tongs, cester and spatula (for a hefty total price), I forgot (and never thought to look for) a pasta spoon. It doesn't look like it. Had to buy one that looks "close"

More than you think.

Much more than I expected. As it looks, I had imagined it to be smaller. I didn't pay enough attention to the description. The handle is quite large and the grater fits in a small bowl. It's convenient, but I figured I could clean something by grating the husk and not have to put it on a bowl and grate with the husk. (I like to grate a little Parmesan into certain dishes while they're on the stove; there's no decent way to do that with this grater.) Other than that, it's a top quality grater…

Very sharp, oversized, watch out for the holes in the lid

*Update: I've noticed that sometimes the food "sticks" to your teeth a bit instead of just being rubbed off. It's sharp, so I suspect it's the gap between the teeth. I've often noticed this with garlic cloves and slightly dried lemons. * The grater is very sharp and does its job very efficiently. The small teeth are further apart and a bit larger than some of the others I've had, but they seem to work just as well on nutmeg and ginger (ha!) as they do on bigger things.
