🔌 BESTEK 300W Power Inverter 12V DC to 110V AC Car Converter with Dual USB Charger Adapter (4.2A) Review

I already have other inverters but I need something for a small AC charger. This unit is silent, just the faintest hint of a fan that you only hear when the car is absolutely silent. Copes with charging with no problems. The power cord is a little short, only 2ft, but you can always use an AC extension cord (AC is better than DC over long distances anyway). I can also bring a second device to leave in my wife's car.

I looked at many options and am happy with my decision. It has more amps (faster charging) and enough watts for what I need. Laptops/phones/extra power when camping. The fan emits a high-pitched hum, but as soon as the radio is turned on, it is no longer audible. The size was also much more compact than most, allowing it to fit perfectly in my Altima's storage space. Perfect for those who only need to run a device or two

It worked flawlessly during a two week burn test on my emergency backup solar system. It must be reliable when needed. I used 2 x 100W solar panels, a 125Ah AGM battery, a 30A controller and this modified 300W rectangular inverter. I'm not worried they can handle loads of up to 250W as tested. The situation in Puerto Rico got me thinking about the need for this system as an emergency backup for cell phone charging and lighting. Only in an emergency can we rely on ourselves.

Love it! I bought it to power a TV and an IPTV set top box in my RV without running a generator, the load is around 180 watts. The fan is audible but barely noticeable in anything other than the library setting. The build quality seems reasonable for the price. I bought this inverter a few months ago to power and charge my laptop on the go. I finally got the chance to use it the other day when I bought it in June and it worked fine for about an hour or two while using my laptop. Inverters are hit or miss. I had one that worked fine but the fan was junk and made a whining noise that could be felt in your bones. This is very well built and very quiet. So quiet it's easy to forget it's plugged in. Take care of your battery. The only thing I don't like are the USB ports (there are 2 of them, in addition to 2 120V sockets) which remain live even when the switch is off. . This is a good value 300w unit. I like its plastic body which is better suited for boating and camping. No sharp edges, no scratches or stains. It's very light and comfortable for my use. I like that the cable is built in as I would never connect it directly to the battery in my use. The voltage is close enough to 110VAC and the device delivers enough power without getting hot. Updated review: I returned it. The fan got very noisy, even at 35W, which is a far cry from its "quiet" claims. It flickered my RV lights, which no other inverter did, not even the 400w models.
