Crash barriers are easy to install and easy to remove

Crash barriers are easy to install and easy to remove. Haven't impact tested them yet, so I don't know how durable they are, but it looks like they're holding up well.

Not suitable for Phantom 3!

Warning! These guards are not suitable for Phantom 3 models, they are much smaller than DJI guards and therefore do not offer sufficient protection. I will return it and get another model.

They are easy to install on a drone, although they may be.

They are easy to install on the drone, although they may have included Alan's key for it. My biggest issue with this is that when you press forward on the control, you end up seeing a prop guard every frame. I recommend it for beginners though.

Both screw options work on the Phantom3, I don't know why.

These guards come with 2 sets of screws. Longer hex head screws, presumably for the Phantom 2, and shorter Phillips head screws with "P3" on the pocket, presumably for the Phantom 3. I have the Phantom 3 and both screw lengths work. In fact, the shorter "p3" screws are almost too short. 2 out of 8 needed don't screw in, not enough threat. However, the longer screws did. I'm confused. Which screws are for what and why?

One of the reasons they seem like such a great idea is because you can easily do it.

These guards are 0.5 inch shorter than DJI guards. This means the blades actually extend beyond the guard! The mounting brackets that stay attached to the P3 stretch out so much that you'll have to cut out the foam inside your case to accommodate them. I was hoping it would be a "ticket". Unfortunately I returned them.

Easy to install and remove. Only two screws are required.

To be honest I have no experience with other cases. I bought them because they are detachable and only need two screws to attach them. I store my drone in a hard case and had to remove the protection for storage. Secure with the pair of screws closest to the outer edge of the drone. I tripped over a brick building with my drone and the guards did their job. My props had a little scraping on the ends from hitting the guards, but it would have been a lot worse without them. They're mediocre, they do their job but they could use some improvement.

I've used DJI protection and also flown without protection, and now with this best protection. These guards seem to affect flight less than the DJI guards, but they still affect flight. It's inevitable. These guards sit slightly lower and farther from the blades than DJI guards, allowing them to penetrate deeper into the video image during strong forward acceleration.
