Offers an extra pair of hands when soldering. Flexible design allows different ways to attach and hold wire. Clips and base are magnetic and can be attached to any ferrous surface. Magnetic arms are detachable and can be moved and used without the base. Base is also hex shaped and can fit in a vise when needed.

Versatile Soldering Tool

Using this tool, our team found that it was incredibly versatile and made soldering much easier. The magnetic base was strong and HELD the tool in place during use and the flexible arm allowed for precise positioning. The crocodile clips were also helpful in holding the workpiece securely. The only downside was that the clips were a bit small for larger projects. Overall, a great addition to any soldering arsenal. .

Superb Magnetic Flexible Soldering Tool!

This tool is awesome! As a result of using this flexible crocodile, I found that my soldering work became much easier and more efficient due to its strong magnetic ability to hold the small metal parts securely in place. THE flexible arms are the perfect length and make it easy to reach any spot. The only downside is the price but given the benefits it provides, it is well worth the investment. Highly recommend adding this tool to your industrial power toolbox!..

Nice tool! for welding and soldering

After replacing the cheap alligator clips that came with the kit with better ones this is a great tool. That's why I didn't give 5 stars. (I recognize flexible "arms" as coolant lines used on milling machines and lathes. Nice application.)
