Oh I love using them on my squid! I ordered these to replace my old records. After years of use and abuse, they warp, scratch and need to be replaced. Believe me, they are worth every penny! I still use the old one when dies aren't designed for cuttlebug. Works well. I recommend them to anyone using a squid embossing and die cutting machine.

Great to have the original plates to hand in the event of an accident. This usually happens in the early hours of the night when you need to finish the maps by morning. This will never happen unless you are fully equipped and prepared for disaster. Buy this set and you don't have to worry. The best part is that you have 2 backups that will protect you for a while. Earlier this year I learned that Cuttlebug, now owned by Cricut, would stop making dies and cutting inserts. I've checked all my local stores and they no longer sell replacement plates. I love having spare B plates on hand! I've learned the hard way that if you carve a lot, you'll find that the B plate will start to warp and eventually you won't be able to use it anymore. I've learned to always put the same record on top and change it regularly. If your stamp is cut face up and there is cardstock on top, your stamps won't warp, only the top panel.
