Centers the holes on pipes, dowels & outside corners. Flat side allow 90Β° drilling into flat surfaces-just clamp and drill. Automatically squares up the drill with the surface. Alignment marks on both sides, to line up on center. Bottom surface is precision ground to ensure stability & accurate perpendicular alignment on flat surfaces. Easy to use with power tools and hand tools

What I liked the most is that I broke 2 #7 drill bits but they both broke on the outside of the tool, just remove the tool and since it was a lot of drill to grab the vise.

Worked absolutely perfectly.

I have used several sizes and they all fit my bits perfectly. I pierced the centers with an awl, stuck the drill through and inserted it into the hole from the awl, moved the guide to the workpieces, clamped the guide. Perfect Holes.

Required drilling blocks

These blocks are 100% bombproof, solidly built and very accurate...essential for precision hand drilling. Almost makes my drill redundant! Tested on a round tube and the hole goes exactly where I intended. I wish I had bought much sooner as now I can't imagine a project without them.

Makes difficult drilling jobs easier

Love it. 7/64 is ideal for drilling a 1/2 threaded rod for cotter pins. Makes the difficult task of drilling a center hole on a pole really easy. You don't even need a drill. The sidebars for leveling are also useful. Just hold it down and go. A simple, no-nonsense tool that works.

Well done, but if you really need to drill a vertical hole, use a drill press

I needed to drill a lot of holes as vertical as possible in an external location that the drill press couldn't reach, so I made this one Bought a set. Well built and healthy. Much more effective on smaller drills than larger ones. If it has to be absolutely vertical, it probably won't work.

Superior Quality USA

Premium, high quality American product. I've always wanted to have a drill guide in case I need to use a hand drill motor. I bought a 4 piece set and am very happy with the quality and the product. I'm a machinist/mechanic and since time is money it was worth buying these 4 pieces rather than spending hours making them. Each piece comes in a beautiful clear plastic protective sleeve.

Thoughtfully designed, beautifully made.

I bought a 4 piece set. They are thoughtfully designed and beautifully finished. And they are made in the USA. We don't always have the opportunity to buy American, but in this case we do. I figured every difference in cost was worth it. I used it to drill some holes in the top of the workbench and in the round steel tube flagpole. In one case a drill was not possible, in another it was much easier than setting up a drill. Both applications delivered exactly the results I was hoping for. Thanks
