Stay Cozy with the Biddeford Blankets Sherpa Electric Heated Blanket - Red/Black Buffalo Check, Double Sided Review

I use this beautiful blanket every night when I watch TV - both sides are incredibly warm and soft. I have bought other blankets from this brand many times in the past but this is the best.

This blanket was very soft and warm. Although the control blew after a month and a half. I do not recommend this blanket. Now I have a blanket that doesn't work. I wanted to edit this review. After my controls stopped working, I called Biddeford directly and explained the situation. The support team was sympathetic and sent me a new blanket. I definitely recommend this blanket.

The blanket is nice and soft. I really like that it's larger than most blankets I've had in the past. What I don't like is that the fabric is quite flimsy - you can easily feel the wires through the fabric. They don't fit my furniture as well as I'd like, so I'll probably just put them away when we need electric knee blankets. If I had known I would just put them away and not flaunt them, I would have bought much cheaper ones from Costco. The only difference is the Buffalo Plaid print.

So. I bought it for non-traditional use. We raise baby animals that do not have a mother and often have trouble maintaining their body temperature. I really like this duvet because it's REALLY warm enough. and temperatures vary everywhere, so babies can hobble around until they find a spot that suits them. (Yes, I make sure they don't overheat.) What I love most about this duvet is the softness and the color/pattern is exactly like the picture. It also gets very hot which is what I was looking for. My only complaint would be that it is very small. I have 5.10 so it doesn't cover my whole body. I also don't like how the chord/console is set up. The remote control has a very short cord from where it needs to be connected to the ceiling. I like how the cord goes into the duvet at the end of the bed by my feet so it doesn't get in the way,

I ordered a sherpa/velvet warmer for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. Looks great, feels soft and warms super. However, after only 1 month of use, it stopped heating evenly. Only 2 spots on the whole blanket got hot. Luckily this was the LAST day of my return.
