My son is very tall for his age but thin. He is 21 months old and I ordered the 2T, they fit as expected and he loves wearing them. It's a little thinner than I expected. If you're looking for something really warm, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you want something more subtle to add some warmth then for the price this is great.

This is a great value, stylish, good quality baby vest. My 2 year old son is a bit small for his age (40th percentile) and I bought him a 12 month vest size to fit the product measurements. It fits snugly so make sure you measure your child and order based on the product's actual size and not their estimated age. I can't believe how expensive vests are in so many stores. This vest looks great, feels good and all without spending a lot of money.

I'm disappointed that I didn't realize that this item is non-refundable. Guilty. The vest seems fine, but while too bulky to wear under a jacket, it doesn't feel warm enough to wear alone with a sweater underneath. Not here, not there. Also, the vest I got had tags and such, but it had detergent on it. My child is very sensitive to smells and doesn't want to use it. I think I'll try washing it until the smell fades. And maybe he can use it next spring.
