Bell too big for smaller gauge

I bought a size 6 but the flared ends were so big I couldn't attach the studs; and tore my flesh and tried to stretch them. Not sure how the flare matches the larger size, but stay away from them if you're rocking smaller calibers. Otherwise these are nice plugs.
