🔧 Optimized Router Collet - Big Horn 19691 1/4" - A Superior Replacement for Dewalt 326286-04, Bosch 2610906283 & Hitachi 323-293 Review

I don't give 5 stars because of the accuracy of the center hole, it fits my Skil RT1322-00 and works well. The deviation is about 1 mm.

My DeWalt router bit came with a 1/2" collet and this collet is a quality tool that allows me to use 1/4" router bits with the router.

Perfect for my DeWalt router. I expect nothing but good things from this collet as I already own the perfect 1/2" version. I recommend.

After 5 seconds of screwing in my Hitachi router, the tool began to vibrate strongly sideways. I made sure the collet was snug but not overtightened. This product is not suitable for Hitachi.

I thought it would fit my DW625 router but it didn't. Maybe it was my fault for not reading carefully. The product looked very good but had to be returned.

The clamping cone broke on the first day of use. I had to go out and buy a new router to finish the job as it is not commercially available. Beware of buying it might break so buy two and have a spare. Otherwise look for a better brand than Big Horn.b

Bought and used with a DeWalt DW618 router. The collet moved a lot straight out of the box, but I decided to give it a try and ignore other reviews' warnings. About a quarter of the way through, the drill began to loosen and about halfway through it was completely out of the collet. A good piece of wood escaped. The OEM option costs me about twice as much, but the wood is way more expensive :/

I bought these collets to replace the factory version on a Hitachi K12 router. Collets too This Although the collet can be easily removed, it wobbles significantly when installing a 1/4" shank bit. In fact the bit is off center, I do not recommend buying it.

Bought for my CNC router, the first thing I noticed is the bits don't center perfectly in the collet, the V-bit tip wobbles when I don't loosen it and re-do it try, this usually focuses on the second try. Since I recently bought this collet, three expensive carbide bits have broken off, oddly enough the bits broke at the top, above the collet, I've never had that with any other collet.
