2004 Ninja 500 - Two installed

They are difficult to connect to the electrical system as the wires are a different color than the wires coming from the bike. They go well with the bike. There are several videos on YouTube. to help with the wiring, but my year (2004 Kawasaki Ninja 500) was like this: Wire from turn signal (black/white stripe) to gray wire from turn signal (red) to yellow stripe Wire from turn signal (black) to blue stripe. Wiring is a mystery - they went solid.

Pros
  • Decent performance

  • There are deficiencies

Very good reproduction of the Kawasaki motorcycle turn signal assembly

This is a very good reproduction of a Kawasaki motorcycle (and possibly other manufacturers) front and rear turn signal assembly. Very close rendition, I really can't tell any difference. It does NOT include any metal base plate, you need it to attach to the body. It includes a third wire for the running lights circuit if your bike has one. The connector pins at the end of the pigtail are identical to Kawasaki's.

Better than stock. - Parts

Exact match to the original EXCEPT - it is possible to use both parking lights and indicators (uses 1157 bulb instead of 1156). I chose not to connect the black wire from the chases - I wrapped it with heat shrink tubing and tucked it away. The remaining 2 wires (red=+ and black/yellow=ground) were easy enough to connect although they were a little shorter than the original ones, so I connected them to the standard wires. Worked flawlessly from the first time - very bright, the flash rate did…

Fast delivery, like the original part for my Kawasaki Ninja 500r (Ex500)

Turn signals was delivered very quickly, the order was processed in a day, received very quickly. I received the indicator 3-4 working days after ordering. I live in Hawaii so anything I order from Revain and receive within a week is shipped quickly. The turn signal itself was pretty much a copy of the OEM part. It has all 3 wires just like the original part. The installation went well, the hardest part of the installation was figuring out the cables. The wires are different colors than the OEM

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Doubtful

Installs easily on my 2007 Ninja 500.

These aren't necessarily direct OEM replacements, but they're close enough for me. I needed two front signals and had two rear ones so I could compare mine and the originals. They don't have a DOT marking. There is no metal rod/stick longer than the stems like the originals. The lenses are bright orange, not the dark smoky orange of my taillights. They look fine on my bike though, with the smoky OEM on the back and these light ones on the front. If you are wondering how to connect this to your…

Not OEM. Attention buyers

My review applies to both the product and the company that supplies the product. I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I don't want to waste my time any more than I've already spent on this thing as this is NOT an OEM PART. This part looks exactly like the OEM but shows no sign of being made by Kawasaki in Japan like all OEM parts on my bikes do. The part I received first, the plastic cover, was a completely different, lighter shade of orange than the original I originally had…
