Very easy to install

I bought these for a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT 4WD with a Fabtech 6" lift kit. a sheet or something to protect against salt.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

When something sounds too good to be true.

Our family has a 2014 Silverado with a 6 inch suspension. After reading many reviews, some assured us that this product would "definitely fit." We had to grind the bushings (because they were too wide) and then they were fitted properly.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I will add later

Put them on my 2007 GMC Sierra 3500 Diesel. .

Put them on my 2007 GMC Sierra 3500 Diesel. It has a BDS lift kit and I replaced the Skyjacker shocks with them. Haven't driven it yet but have installed Bilsteins in a lot of cars and the ride quality is top notch no matter how much I have to sand the part where the bolt goes through to thin it to match the factory brackets on the truck fits

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Negative Gift

The best shock absorbers for the price!

I have a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 6" Rough Country raise kit and the N3 rear shocks that came with the Rough Country kit were a bit too springy for my liking. It was worth buying these dampers from Bilstein. My Sierra no longer has excessive rear bounce and installation was a breeze. I will NEVER switch to another brand when it comes to shock absorbers.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Weak

Great shocks for my 05 Duramax

Makes my truck drive like a trolley. I highly recommend these shock absorbers. They cushion well and look and work great. I had to shave the metal near the bushing to allow it to slide into the shock mount. I sanded it down to the base of the bushing using a sanding disc and it fits perfectly. I also got some 5100's for the front and didn't have to shave the front shocks, they fit perfectly

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

2001 Silverado 5.3L 4x4 6 " Lift

2001 Silverado 5.3L 4x4 6" Lift. My old ranchos have completely disappeared, which was noticeable after they cracked small dents. I replaced all four shocks with these 5100s and it seems to be day and night. It handles very well, a bit too stiff than I would have liked, but hopefully it will break after a few hundred kilometers. I would definitely buy them again for my other cars.

Pros
  • Good Value
Cons
  • Some Small Things

Best money spent on parts

I just installed a 6 inch rough country lift on my 2010 Silverado and it rode like crap. Installed these Bilsrein shocks and what a difference. As others have said it rides as well or better than before the lift. The only issue I had was that Revain didn't deliver them at the same time. One arrived 2 days later than it should have and the other would not deliver for a month. Had to call to fix it and ship next day. So yes, I would recommend them to anyone whose truck isn't driving as well as…

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Bad experience
