Possibility to separate the lids from the base to double the containers!

Everything was great about this product! The lids are separated from the bases to provide customers with a support for the roast beef we sold at our church feast. We put a big piece of wax paper first and then a sandwich when the customer needed to cover the po-boy although most didn't - the food was that good! Sandwich with beef. Will definitely buy again!

  • FORGET THE MACHINE WITH WATERPROOF PAPER ALTERNATIVE. Paper containers also protect the ground, but do not withstand wet food as well as our boxes. Get rid of wet, holey paper!

Not very durable for take away containers

I ordered these to wrap leftovers for guests - we're having several dinner parties this fall and coming up for holiday dinners soon. They seem great from an ecological point of view, however, they are not long-lived at all. When packaging guacamole, pulled pork, macaroni, and cheese, the moisture really took a toll on the containers and they went soft pretty quickly. Perfect for cooking and reusable!

I bought these containers to reduce the amount of plastic used and because they are biodegradable so they can be composted! I used them to make a week's meal for me and my fiancé and they kept well in the grocery fridge for 4 days. Our food prep doesn't include any sauce or dressing (see picture for example food) so I can't comment on how well they hold up to this type of food, but I can say I've wiped the used food clean and I'm done now.
