I love these Birkenstocks. This was the second pair I ordered because the first pair was too wide. Why? The correct size was 42.0 EU N. The "N" means narrow, not regular, and the Birkenstocks go wide. I've been told that most people want a narrow Birkenstock, and of course I did.

I wear sandals every day. I wear them to work and stand most of the day. Got them for back problems (OA), fibromyalgia and they have changed my pain levels and episodes. Ordered Boston in gray wool for the winter, as well as a nice lighter 3 strap model for dressier occasions. These shoes are the only ones I wear now.

I didn't really realize how much until last night. He worked at the New York Fair and walked around in sneakers all day. I picked him up at night and just before he got to the car he noticed his tags were in his backpack, stopped, breathed a sigh of relief and put them on in the middle of the carnival! SO I KNEW he loved his new Birkenstocks!

Shoes on the market DO NOT have arch support like they did in the 1970's. really beautiful and well done. You can also buy "arch insoles" to add to your shoes by typing "Orthaheel" into the Amazon search box. Nothing to complain about, just good practical shoes

The product is as expected but as any Birkenstock owner knows it takes time to break down. I didn't realize the 'N' stood for 'narrow' - so the first wear was a bit tight so I'll loosen the strap and hope that makes a difference, but the insole is definitely noticeably narrower than my usual size 42 I would definitely buy from this seller again. Great prices.
