The beginning was great but after 6 months the corks are so worn that they don't fit and sometimes they seem dangerous. The pair I wore a few years ago seemed to wear a little better and I don't think this expensive pair will last more than a year. Really expected slower wear and better fit after 6 months. Maybe a thicker cork sole is needed? You cannot tighten the straps any further. I wanted to love her!

I usually wear a size 8 so a size 39 was perfect. I went online to see how to hack them and I'm in the process of doing it. They're tough, yes, that's to be expected, but they're getting better every day. Do what they say: Walk around the house in your socks for 30 minutes a day to begin the process of plugging your foot. The color is exactly what I wanted - iron skin. These will definitely be the shoes I've been dreaming of for so long! I am happy about this purchase!

I ordered these shoes through Amazon not knowing they would ship overseas. They were marked US size 8-8.5 which is my size and at first I thought I must have misunderstood the size but now I see the error was in what was sent to me. I was sent a size 38 which costs $7-7.5 each chart I look at and they are tiny. I wanted to return them and found that it would cost me twice as much to send them than to buy them! TAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I love Birkenstocks and haven't worn anything else for years. I bought them for my husband who had foot problems. He loves her! Not filmed since. However, one thing should be noted. You'll want to break these sandals in slowly. The insole is so supportive that your foot will most likely not get used to it. I recommend wearing them for about an hour the first day and increasing the wear time each day. If you don't do this, your feet may hurt for the first few days.

I can wear any shoe from this brand right away. Size 41 made for me. I have about 20 pairs, I wear it almost every day (depending on the weather). They are extremely comfortable, offer excellent arch and heel support and have a very durable outsole with excellent traction. The 2 straps are adjustable so you can easily adjust them to fit your foot. You can't go wrong with this brand as they have been around for over 200 years. I think they know what they're doing now.
