AMAZING for pet hair!

I bought this product primarily to remove my cat fur from our black sofa (although it looks gray in the photos). Well, let the photos speak for themselves. Also post a video of my friend trying this so you can hear the noises it makes. To me it makes less noise than our main vacuum and isn't a problem, but reading the reviews people always seem to be concerned about the noise level haha. It didn't take long and it really did a fantastic job. Haven't tried other attachments or for any other…

The 2ft long cable and the attachments convinced me!

. Not sure why anyone would buy the Bissell Pet Hair version of this product. is it a color The fact that it says "pet hair" on the transparent container. Both Bissell products share the same motor booster, sponge pet hair gripper and performance, except for one detail that is important to me – the pet hair version's cord is 2 feet shorter. SHORTER. It made my decision easy. I need a longer cable. This handheld vacuum is a workhorse and is great for removing my dog hair from stairs, furniture…

Gets rid of stubborn dog hair

I was having a hard time getting dog hair out of my car and somehow this finally helped. Our dog is a lab pointer mix and he has these tiny, short, wire-like hairs that cling to the inside of the fabric and even pierce it to the point where a regular vacuum can't remove them without cleaning. So how do you get rid of them? First, there's a rubber-based scrubber on the front that removes messy hairs etc, which theoretically helps catch dog hair. I now noticed that it was more difficult to use in

Nice to use but impossible to clean and assemble

I like how it works but the instructions and assembly are terrible. After using this a few times I planted it on the counter ready to clean. It opened and earth fell in all directions. Then after cleaning up the mess I couldn't put it back together. Writes that it is necessary to use the filter, but it is impossible to put the filter back. It says to replace the filter with a part that says TOP at the top. TOP is not written anywhere. It is also not possible to determine which side of the…

Works great on pet hair, agrees with others on poor vent design

I really like this vacuum better because it does such a good job removing pet hair from the carpet (mine has a rabbit there). This is the third vacuum I've bought to help her clean out the paddock and the wide opening with no hoses helps with the occasional hay too. But the vents on the sides blow out dust/dirt before you can get to it. This is very frustrating! Luckily, I read the reviews and knew I had to cover the vents with paper to redirect the air (but it seemed to get a little hot). I…

Bissell Corded Portable Vacuum Cleaner 47R51

Love it! (Bissell 47R51) It's so easy to use, carry, change accessories and deflate. At first I thought the rubber nozzle would be annoying and useless, but it's AMAZING at scraping pet hair off the carpet. I shaved my long haired dachshund in a room with short weave carpet and the wool was matted all over the carpet (stupid oversight on my part I know) but the rubber head was easy to clean. It's beautiful and only took about 5 minutes or so. The side of the HEPA filter that faces the trash can

Finally the right tool for my stairs at a reasonable price!

The right tool for the job makes all the difference! I received this vacuum cleaner today. I bought it specifically to vacuum the stairs, which has always been a frustrating task for me. Tried different vacuum cleaners. Big bulky on the stairs, and often the jets aren't powerful enough to lift everything, especially in the crevices. The handheld vacuums I tried didn't have enough suction to really pick up all the debris. However, this little vacuum cleaner did an amazing job. First I used a…

Does not deserve negative reviews

Good. This is only the second review I've ever written, but I felt I had to. I was skeptical about this vacuum cleaner after reading the negative reviews. So much so that I even bought lint removers and extra rollers to go with it. When there was a vacuum I decided to give it a try. I bought a futon and a black mattress cover to match my decor. I have a tan lamb retriever. The guy loses a lot. More than I thought when I saw how much more hair was showing on the black cover. I tried a shark…

Not for me - hand vacuum cleaner

I wanted to fall in love with this machine but it didn't work out. I bought this to use on stairs as my regular vacuum is a giant stand that is very easy to fall off when using hand tools. I wanted a portable, corded vacuum so the suction power wouldn't be lost over time due to battery wear. The first problem: The wide nozzle has two strips of fabric, one on each side, to collect hair. A streak came off at the first stage. EVERY FIRST USE! How will it last me for years if something falls apart…
