Bissell carpet cleaner does not work, never used. Problem? The solenoid valve had to be replaced. This is a great replacement part. The machine works now.
Perfect replacement - fits and works like the original. However, I didn't properly diagnose the problem and didn't really need this part. The problem turned out to be a blocked heater, so make sure you understand what's going on before ordering. If you need a solenoid, that's great!
This solenoid valve fits the Bissell Proheat 2 exactly like the original in form (aside from colour), fit and function. Valve works well and saved the purchase of a new carpet cleaner. If you look at this valve, before replacing this valve, make sure the valve is seated at the bottom of the water tank and there is no spillage.
well made solenoid - accurate OEM part. That wasn't my real problem. The problem was due to a poor fitting of the cylinder valve with no proper lift to start the water flow. The pump should provide a decent pressure from the main outlet hose "to the heater" when running. it circulates water to heat it. 20-20…
My Bissell vacuum sucked well, the nozzle on the end of the hose worked. But the main floor sprayers didn't work at all. I took apart the base of the bissell and traced the water hoses to this solenoid. I disconnected the hoses from the solenoid, turned that bissell on the water flowing out of the hose coming out of the fresh water tank so I knew that solenoid was stuck closed. I was very happy to have found this replacement part. After installing this solenoid, my atomizers started working…
