My Bissell vacuum sucked well, the nozzle on the end of the hose worked. But the main floor sprayers didn't work at all. I took apart the base of the bissell and traced the water hoses to this solenoid. I disconnected the hoses from the solenoid, turned that bissell on the water flowing out of the hose coming out of the fresh water tank so I knew that solenoid was stuck closed. I was very happy to have found this replacement part. After installing this solenoid, my atomizers started working again! It worked! So I decided to clean the carpet. Unfortunately after 10 minutes of cleaning (about 1.5 tanks) the solenoid stopped working, just like the first time. I have since returned the product for a refund and refused to have my floor cleaner repaired. I suspect the problem isn't with the solenoids as much as with the Bissell, but who knows.
