This brush set contains everything you need to start writing. You can use the pens as is or you can use them with a water brush pen like I did here. You can make very beautiful mixes! As a beginner I highly recommend this set as it includes brush pens of different colors as well as brush brush pens and a water brush pen if you like to mix colors! With it you can create a variety of patterns, ideal for beginners or even experienced handwriters!

I went online to buy black calligraphy pens but then I saw this and the price was right so I clicked buy and I'm glad I did . I really like the dual tips and the different colors are helpful. I'm learning Chinese characters, which requires a calligraphy brush, but I write the definitions in color and it really helps me learn both the meaning and the form. I ordered this set because it had black and colored pens which differed from other options available. My 11 year old daughter was excited to try her as an aspiring artist and spent hours drawing, creating and writing. Not only does she love calligraphy, but also the variety of broad lines she can use with technical brush tips to draw fashion designs and other fine arts. This is such a handy little set when you are just starting to write or journal and need all those fun colored brush pens that match fineliners with different nib sizes to write or line up your drawings. I was actually going to give it 2 stars but I increased it to 3 which I get in a minute. You will get 8 brush pens, 3 different size black pens, 1 black brush and a water brush. No complaints.
