Perfect replacement for my 12" Dewalt miter saw. Be sure to check the model/version numbers as there are several different handle models that look very similar.

This is an exact replacement for your DeWalt miter saw, but I am annoyed to have to pay $35 for a piece of injection molded plastic. Overall it fits, seems to be of good quality and got me back in business.

New handle fits my Dewalt 705 chop saw perfectly. Easy to install. The saw is back in action! The only problem was the wiring. Just be careful when removing the old handle.

It turned out to be an almost exact match to the original pen. I would like to take a picture of the wiring. A screw had to be added in place of the plastic pin used on the switch. Pay attention to the photo of the old pen. Used a pan head screw. Would buy again.

When ordering you need to know the model and type number. Dewalt manufactured 705 different types of saws. The type number is located under the model number. Mine was Type 5. Then look at the shape of your grip. Some are rectangular while others are staggered. Take a picture of your handle on the saw and compare it to the Revain Type 5 handle. Not all Type 5s are created equal. When you do this, the screw holes will line up with the holes on your saw to ensure a perfect fit.
