Black Decker 514004367 Air Hose Review

Saved me buying a new pump. As previously mentioned, the valve is made of plastic, not metal. But the metal broke anyway. It was cast metal, so it's probably just as strong. Very short hose compared to the original.

The original was longer and the tip was metal. The replacement I ordered had a shorter tube and a plastic tip. Time will only tell the length of the plastic tip. stays on and a shorter hose makes it more difficult to use in tight spaces

Seems to work fine but as it doesn't have a threaded nozzle fitted it was very difficult to install and no hose clamp was supplied on the end of the nozzle. The plastic end that goes to the air valve on the tire worked well, I just hope it lasts as long as the original metal. The installation took a long time.

I have a 20 year old Black & Decker Airstation that still works very well. Unfortunately, the metal valve at the end of the tube is not connected to the valve stem of my tire, nor to the adapter used to fill inflatable toys or balls. I bought this air hose tip in hopes of extending the life of my air station. I have had this air compressor for over 30 years and replaced it 19 years ago. The bike's plastic connecting rod has worked well all along. This product has two problems. As mentioned in many other reviews, being only 28 inches long can be problematic. Such cheapness from the manufacturer is annoying, but I can still use the product.
