Works, but not well adhered, at the edges

I'm not sure how the larger size of the sets could be used without cutting them to fit better. I installed the smaller and found that after two weeks that the edges, even though curved to avoid catching, were no long adhering on the last 1/8th inch of the perimeter along the top edge of the hiking shoe, even though below that edge. I'd have expected better. Also, the adhesive layer is whitish and NOT the color of the outer layer, so you will see that edge-on. So, these will work to cover the…

Wish I found these sooner.

I know it's a cliche, but I could have saved multiple shoes from a premature trip to the dump had I known of these patches. Being the lazy individual I am, I don't always untie my shoes & consequently the heel regularly wears out to the point of causing blisters. These shoe patches do an excellent repairing worn fabric inside of the shoe. The adhesive backing is very strong and firmly attaches to cleaned shoe lining. I will definitely buy some more for future repairs.

Not nearly sticky enough

I put these in the back of my running shoes and was confident in my placement, but when I took my shoes off they were sticking to my socks.Will not buy again.

Causes Blisters - my new review

I used these to try to slow wear in the heel of my running shoes. Instead it started causing blisters on my heels. I found I was better off without it.

Makes things worse!

It started peeling after 2 days. And then ripped more off of what I was trying to patch!If you're looking to fast forward the problem, then get these. You'll blown what you were trying to fix in no time!
