Great but short lived

They feel great and are very light and these gloves are practical too. But they didn't last long for me. Three weeks since I got them my fingers are starting to curl

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Non automatic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These gloves are the lightest and most nimble I have.

These gloves are the lightest, most nimble I have ever owned and stand up to heavy welding. Forget I wear them for a long time, will buy them again.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative Impressions

Weld with comfort and durability

These gloves lasted me a month and another 2 weeks. With my hands in mind these gloves stand up to the heat, are very comfortable and fit very well. I also like the long cuff. I work 10 hour days as a welder and am still impressed I recommend.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Nothing

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The inside of the glove and lining is of poor quality.

The inside of the handle is wafer thin and will burn if struck. I've had one that didn't even go through ONE 6g tube coupon. I even bought a second pair just to see if mine burned out in the same spot. the liner immediately began to disintegrate on both pairs.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • -

As another reviewer mentioned, they are not that durable, lasting less than 4 weeks (on 12/5 the thumb hole reached 11/9). I go to welding school at night so they were only used 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. However, they keep the back of the hand cooler and more comfortable than any other gloves I've used. If you only burn staves they can last, but I'll take my money elsewhere for the next set.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties

These are the best aluminum gloves!

These are the most comfortable gloves I have ever used. And I've tried them all. Nomex lining has better heat resistance than anything else on the market. The amount of agility you get is really impressive too. They offer the perfect balance between protection and comfort. All the reviews saying they burn and shrink too fast just keep your hand 3 inches from the arch. As long as you keep a reasonable distance, they will last just as long as any other gloves.

Pros
  • Kevlar stitching provides protection from sparks and abrasion
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

As another reviewer noted, they are not so durable that they lasted less than 4 weeks (11/9 thumbholes to 12/5) . I go to welding school at night so they were only used 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. However, they keep the back of the hand cooler and more comfortable than any other gloves I've used. If you only burn staves they can last, but I'll take my money elsewhere for the next set.

Pros
  • Reverse grain on palm for a softer handfeel and improved grip
Cons
  • So far so good
