Well built and perfect for a vacuum flask. Most Elite Carbon bottles are not suitable for insulated water bottles. One broke, don't ever do that again.

I ordered two shiny black checks but received one shiny and one matte. I love these cages as they keep my bottles secure even on gravel. However, they are overpriced.

Bombproof! This is my second set, have been through a lot and they always work. Firm enough to hold a bottle on very rough terrain, but perfect for retrieving and loading a bottle even during a race.

I was impressed with the Blackburn Carbon Water Bottle Cage. I was looking for something green to complement the color scheme of my new bike. It looked so good I bought a second one. It also holds my camel water bottles securely and looks very well made.

Nice cage, took a few rides to break in, first few rides were difficult getting bottles in and out. It seems a little easier now, or maybe I just got used to the feeling. Very safe, had a minor accident a few weeks ago and both bottles were still in their cages (Camelbak Podium).

Fine. I wanted something expensive to match my new matte black road bike so I spent $110 on 2 bottle cages. That's right, $110! Cycling is expensive. Ha! Well unfortunately the white lettering bothers me so I removed it and put all the matte black cheap plastic cages in. I guess I'll just mount them on my other bike.

The construction and aesthetics of these bottles are amazing! This is clearly a quality product with great attention to detail. Unfortunately it didn't do what I needed to do - hold the bottles while cycling. He fired 2 water bottles (CamelBak Podiums) mid-race after overcoming what I would call a very light hit. Super disappointed even if the race ended well.

I wouldn't have a problem with this if it wasn't for Blackburn customer service. Their website lists a one year warranty. I broke one of these while pulling out a bottle on my road bike (see picture). I have contacted them via email, phone and through the contact form on their website and after weeks of waiting I have not heard from anyone. For now I'm hoping Revain will fix things as they aren't very expensive but I won't be buying another one.

It's light as expected and great for holding my polar bottles for on the go. The problem is that I'm afraid of breaking or cracking it as the bottles require a bit of extra force to install due to the design. With an aluminum cage, you don't even have to worry about a tight fit as it will bend easily without suffering damage. We'll see how it holds up unless I change my mind and send it back.
