I use it to siphon 30 gallons of hydraulic oil from a holding tank into a recirculation tank. I was shocked to see that it emptied the tank in under 2 minutes! I used my own tubing (3/4" hose) and 3/4" fittings. The suction power is great, almost like in the store! I would recommend it to anyone who has a lot of dehydration to do!

because they say the pipe thread is UK standard. 4 FHT (with hose) so connecting it to a US standard 3/4 MNPT x 3/4 FHT PVC fitting was no problem. then immediately converted to pex. I will pump diesel

The pump had very poor suction (even when the pump was under a light oil well). The pump had zero output at 10 feet. Just a trickle at 6 feet. 50 gallons was pumped in 6 hours so we switched to a small mud pump which pumped the rest of the oil (200 gallons) in less than 3 hours!

Wow! This little pump was awesome! Incredible fluid draw for its size. Easily transfer home made heating oil from an old 275 gallon tank to a new one. Would give it 5 stars but the 2 small adapters that screw into the side for the hoses are unthreaded. Got new adapters from home depot and went racing. This is an amazing pump. Love it!

The pump came quickly, looked as advertised, had all the parts and works great. I use it to pump hydraulic oil out of a 35 gallon tank on my excavator when it needs servicing. Had to find some whistles in Lowes to use, nothing hard to find. I also made a spigot for the suction tube to keep it straight when inserting it into the tank, out of cheap PVC tubing.

I liked the compact size of the pump. very powerful, easy to set up. The only thing I would like to change is to offer smaller fits. 1-inch fittings and hoses pump really fast, but if you're going slower or want to pump 5-gallon cans, that's way too much volume. Another problem is that the liquid in the outlet hose is blocked by air and will not even be emptied. the pump is off. I'm looking for a way to put a tee in the pressure line to vent it and release the line, but I'm having a hard time…

Received my new Blackhorse oil pump on 3/13/21. First thing I found was that both the threads on the pump and hose fittings were damaged, both threads were missing. I had to go to the hardware store and buy 2 new hose connection pumps. After that I connected the drain hose and downspout to the siphon hose attached to the oil pump. I place a siphon tube in my 5 gallon bucket of oil and start pumping oil into my diesel engine. The pump worked ok. 4 minutes before it started smoking and smelling…

Just under $100 when I bought this pump I thought it couldn't be beat for value. Plug it into my farm's diesel tank. The fuel pumps can fill my tractor very quickly in about a minute and a half. The auto shut-off nozzle works perfectly. Starts under load with no problems. The downside is that it's noisy, but I don't care, I don't like it running all day, use it at most once a week for 5 minutes. Again for the money I can't believe how well this thing works I will definitely be buying another…
