I had a regular blender bottle but never used it because it was very difficult to open and close. I appreciated the tight seal but had so much trouble opening it. This bottle is perfect because the lid opens and closes. Plus, the handle folds up when you don't want to use it. It's twice the price of regular, but honestly worth it if you drink protein shakes every day.

I don't use blender bottles with a white ring on top. I've found other bottles that don't have this and don't leak at all. When this white ring wears out, the cap will leak.
