It only took a few weeks. I went to take a shower and this thing popped up next to my head as I turned on the water. It splashed everywhere. One of the few disappointments I've had with Revain. After it burst, I saw that the tube inside is very thin.

Broke after less than 2 months of use. This happened when the water pressure in the pipeline increased. My water slowed at the handle. It looks impressive with metal pipes on the outside, but it's just a facade. The inner waterline is very thin and thin. I will not buy this brand again.

After washing, plumbing tape, plumbing, thick caulk, and finally flexible sealant, I gave up. This hose flows all the way. I thought it was the top mount but after trying it out after the flexseal had cured I saw that the water was leaking all over the hose. I give up. I just ordered a new shower head with my own 6ft hose.

I've looked everywhere for a long hose and was glad to find this one. BUT. After just a month of use, it exploded! The outer metal shell fell onto the hose and the rubber part of the hose exploded, putting my entire bathroom and I in the shower! Just before I had to go to work no less! What a mess! I won't buy any more of these! Save yourself the time and hassle and ditch that inferior hose.

I was looking for a long shower hose and came across this. I read the reviews (both good and bad) and decided to give it a try. It was easy to install (don't even need to use tape). I really like the flexibility of the hose. If I don't have a problem with that, I'll order another one for my other bathroom. I was so pleased that a month later I bought a second one for a relative with mobility issues. It was easy to install and the length was very helpful. The shower head connector would not attach past 1 and part of the second thread. I don't have a bottom faucet so I checked the shower head threads with a dice. Everything was good. Using the included teflon tape as a lube didn't help. I finally achieved a seal by adding two extra rubber washers to the hose head, the extra washers were not included but then it took brute force with pliers to get the seal. I don't know if I was unlucky or what, but after half an hour of actual use it broke. This meant it broke a few hours after receiving it. From the outside it looks quite durable, but it is not. The hose is very thin and will not withstand even light/moderate water pressure. The weak point began to bulge and rupture the outer shell surrounding the tube. If I kept using it, it would burst.
