These are the exact same tap shoes sold in dance shops. Dance shoes fit differently than tennis shoes so it is important that you try on your foot before ordering, otherwise you may receive the wrong size. There were no problems with these shoes.

Ratings were correct. Whole size too small. My daughter has been tapping all summer. Your current shoes fit. This is a new brand needed for their courses. I bought the same size as them and they were a full size smaller. I had to exchange for a larger size. I should have listened to the feedback. do yourself a favor Order one size larger.

I would give these shoes 5 stars for their excellent quality but they run very small. I took a risk and ordered for my daughter but I have to send her back. She wears child size 3. We tried 4 but we have to change her to women size 5. I hope they are big enough. I will say that despite the size they are made out of quality leather and sound great.

These are great shoes if you are the right size! I made the mistake of not reading the reviews carefully enough and just ordered a size up (9 instead of my usual street size 8). I had to return them for 9.5 which fit perfectly. They appear to be the correct width when given the correct length. My daughter has worn slippers from this brand for many years. We love quality and style. In street shoes she wears a size 3. She grew out of a tap dance in a size 4 so of course I ordered a size 5 thinking it would fit. Not correct! The size 5 shoes are actually SMALLER than their size 4 shoes! I have a narrow, flat foot with metatarsal problems. Of course I need good shoes that are comfortable. I'm new to faucet and they feel nice and firm. Ib was able to order them in a narrow width which really helped support my legs. I tapped for an hour last night with no pain in my legs. Actually, I had to enlarge my street shoes, which is typical for dance shoes.

Unfortunately this product did not fit the size of both shoes as we encountered a defect when my daughter tried to walk in them for her first dance rehearsal with them and us couldn't come back within the window so we can't buy them. Obviously something is wrong with the shoes themselves and the liner. We needed this particular shoe badly for a dance competition so I ordered another pair half a size bigger so that in case we had the same problem we could at least fill the shoe with lambswool at
