After reviews, practical use and service from the manufacturer I didn't bother. Simple, no frills, just powerful switches on a great mount.

When you look at this marine panel you know it's one of the best. The shaft is used for navigation lights, bilge pump, electronics and stereo. This one serves as a replacement for the same type, and the previous one lasted five years, which is a long time for an open console with a lot of saltwater humidity in the area.

Great product! It is highly recommended to use internal fuses that are easily accessible after removing the front panel (no more extra cables or stooping to get to the console). The fuses also have a very strong rubber cover under the faceplate making them fully waterproof. Worth every penny compared to all the junk available.

Good quality but they come with blank labels. Had to send for custom labels for an additional $16 to make it look professional. I spent more money because of the marine environment. This should take a long time. This is a no frills unit. Blue Sea was supposed to have special labels as part of the packaging, I would give it 5 stars if it came with a custom label. I am repairing my own 18ft power catamaran. I'll go all the way and don't skimp on anything. A lot of the boats you buy have terrible electrical systems. Car wires and connectors, cheap switches, fuses and no junction blocks. I bought the Blue Sea Switch Panel because of the quality design, built in circuit breakers, lightweight back panel and high quality plastic. Also very weather resistant. So when I'm done, my boat will be top notch, from construction to electrical to finishing.

This waterproof panel is mounted in a waterproof plastic case and installed in an open aluminum Jon boat (G3). I wish there was a way to disable the red light "off" and only have the green "on" function. The only purpose of the negative wire is for those red/green lights. Very well assembled, satisfied with the quality. I'm glad I spent the extra money on cheaper models. We fitted it into one of Hammond MFG's steel boxes to mount in the van and not cut into the dash. Pre-assembled. Makes it very easy to install. You just need to connect the power to the input terminals, and then each switch will be powered. You will also need a cable to the accessory. I think if I were using more powerful accessories I would prefer boosted input connectors. Since there are six 15A circuit breakers, you could get 90A with this panel.
