Short circuit within 5 hours of use. I used the correct bulb and socket and even hung it so I didn't have to move. It is better to use ZooMed.

I didn't buy these for reptiles or pets, they were just the deepest domes I could find at a reasonable price to protect the PAR38 and BR40 LED bulbs that hang in my glazing porch, so as not to dazzle. Looks great and likes to work, the rocker switch is nice and smooth. The price of these 2 packs is still pretty high, Revain are now offering the exact same Fluker bulb at a much lower price so get yours while you can.

I was hesitant to buy these as they are about a third cheaper than dome cameras from known competitors so I was glad when they arrived I found the quality to be equal (or better) than other devices. These domes feel a bit heavier than the others, and despite running an auto-ballasted halogen bulb, the metal body doesn't get hot. Will definitely be buying more as we like to have spare cans and flashlights on hand.

Great product looks good but. in the process of painting in gloss black, underpainted part of the bonnet edge. Doesn't look bad unless you look closely. You'd think Blue Spotted would do some sort of product testing during construction. These aren't cheap headlights, so I expect them to be properly painted, which is no excuse. If they were 10.00 each I would never have mentioned the minor color issue other than they seem solid with a great powerband.

The product was sold as new but looks used. It has dents, lots of small scratches and the box looks like it has been sitting for a while, not just a new box that has bounced around during shipping. This is the product I was looking for and it works great but if I wanted a used light I would find and buy a used light and pay a lot less. This lamp is prominently displayed in my living room, so looks are important. BTW there is a big drop of paint which is a manufacturing defect and not related to
