I got this for my little brother for Christmas. He's in a DND campaign and wanted a themed book to take notes in. It was perfect for him. It was a little flimsy, and some of the cover was stringy and had to be trimmed, but you get what you pay for and this was perfect for what I wanted it for.

Unique little notebook, it is handmade and beautifully done. My only issue is the leather had writing on it, but that will not change the usefulness, just won't be giving it as the intended gift. I haven't written in it so I don't know how the pages will handle ink, or if I'll need to use a pencil. I'm also not sure how the pages will hold up to use. But I do love it, and will probably order another one for the person I had in mind when purchasing it.

The stone in the middle is beautiful. The craftsmanship is good especially for the price. Other reviews state it is a low quality item, and though quality does vary, so does leather. As someone who works with leather regularly, I can tell you that every piece of leather behaves differently. Some leather absorbs the color stain better whereas others do not; this is the reasoning why some of the notebooks may have discolorations on the cover. This was purchased for my daughter. She love it. She has shown it to several people and everyone has commented how it looks like an ancient recording log book. She really likes the lock/latch. Plus the pages are bound in individual sections. It seems very durable and I think you might be able to replace pages later. Overall she is very happy with this journal!

Came packaged nicely. The book itself is very lovely. Nice details and a good clasp. I do kinda feel like if you are not careful it may fall apart easily. The pages are threaded in with thick string (perhaps hemp rope)? Not sure. Other than that it is very rustic and beautiful.

This is a cute journal thingy. The leather is very thin. Would have given 5 stars if it was thicker. Mine arrived with some damage likely incurred during shipping or packaging. Can't fault the seller for that.

I love the look of it hence why i purchased, so many good reviews but somehow i got the one that isn't as high quality. Unfortunately i got what i paid for this time. I might make use of it somehow. If purchasing this i suggest pray that you get the good quality one lol. A hit or miss.

The rock on the front feels more like plastic then stone and the pages are rough causing ballpoint or gel pens to bleed a little. But they are super cute for the price! Mine had a little orange mark on the inside cover but It wasn’t to drastic. Super cute for the price I paid!
