Save on a better product

Worked fairly well given the initial price. I only used it 4 times for a couple of hours each (3 hours max) before it completely stopped working. I was forced to throw it out and eventually switched to Elgato, which works way better than this piece of junk. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Computer Components
Cons
  • No Form Required

Worth checking out the best internals

Very easy to use and connect to my OBS setup. I would like there to be a way to connect audio so you can hear the party chat, but it's a work in progress. An easier alternative to avoid about $200 on El Gato. The brand name is not always a train.

Pros
  • Internal TV tuner and capture cards
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Lightweight, no drivers, good picture. Windows or Linux

Easy to use and good transmission quality. My full installation runs classic gaming systems on an old VCR, RCA VCR output to RCA->HDMI converter (4:3), HDMI from converter to this. Emulates a webcam, no driver required. Used with Win10 and Debian. I record with OBS. Requires additional power from the DC port via USB, I recommend a good charger for this.

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Built like a tank, works great.

Very well made and does what it should. The picture quality from the HDMI LOOP Out was good and clear, but on my screen it showed up with a slightly darker tint than when the device was out of place. Just had to turn up the brightness to compensate, but something to note. I would buy another.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Minor defects
