Reading the reviews on this sweater it was hard to figure out what size to buy my dog so I took a picture of him he is a chihuahua terrier mix and I ordered a 10 inch that's a little loose on him and I think he can work himself out of that so I might order a size down but I've added a photo to help you choose the right size for your dog . So glad I got this for my Maltipoo. His last haircut was too short as the weather got colder so I use it to keep warm but it's the cutest thing ever! Fit is EXCELLENT. I went to the size chart and got 12 inches long. For reference, my dog weighs 14 pounds. Neck 11 inches, back 14 inches and chest 17.5 inches. He has a long back and a slim build. It's also soft, stretchy and looks just like the picture. I highly recommend it.

This sweater looked so cute I was excited for my little Yorkie to wear it! When I arrived I found a sweater that was a faded orange and not red - all the other colors were washed out too! I measured my Yorkie and ordered a sweater that when stretched can be about 12 inches long but definitely not big enough for my carefully measured Yorkie! I feel really stupid for trusting this sweater ad! What a disappointment! If I could give this sweater any stars, I would!

I was very unlucky buying my dog online. Size always seems to be an issue; If she were human, she would constantly complain about being "between sizes" and shop at 5-7-9 (remember that store?). Anyway, my expectations were pretty low when I ordered this sweater. But I was pleasantly surprised! My pit bull mix weighs about 55 pounds, with long legs (for the pit) and a thick neck. I hesitate to buy clothes for our Doggo due to sizing issues. Sometimes even the largest of the proposed sizes does not fit her wide chest. We have a Coonhound mix (Treeing Walker x Unknown) that weighs about 70 pounds with long, skinny deer legs and a barrel chest. Very big fits her perfectly. These sweaters are very soft (100% acrylic so they don't shrink) and very well made. I love blueberry pet products. Last year I bought a matching dog and human sweater set separately and ended up ordering 2 different dog sweater sizes because I wasn't sure.
