Good value for money, I recommend it.

Within a room of 16 square meters, the connection stability is excellent. In a straight line and without walls, 10 meters is also without pretensions. Three brick walls between the hall and the kitchen can already cause signal loss. However, the module is not the most powerful, so everything is quite consistent with the protocol specification. For most everyday needs, a Bluetooth adapter is quite suitable. ated drivers can be easily found on the official ASUS website. I mainly use it to…

Pros
  • Solid, high-quality Bluetooth module for a desktop computer.
Cons
  • Almost none for this money. Unless the connection with Bluetooth headphones through a load-bearing concrete wall is lost.

I don't see the good quality, it's nothing but downsides.

Different pros: Normally works with a computer, the device determines, there is sound. Occasionally crashes, losing connection with the device. Restored by reboot. Has some cons: Doesn't work with laptop. Regular connection errors with the headset. The headset is fully functional.

The worst purchase in my life, don't repeat my mistake

If you move 1.5 meters away, then the sound in the headphones is already beginning to be interrupted. This is with only one connected device (headphones). And it's not about the headphones, when connected to the phone, everything works fine at 3 or even 4 meters in a straight line. Windows 10 with all the latest ates, the driver for this module is also the latest.

Pros
  • Works
Cons
  • Range - 1 meter in a straight line, without obstacles.

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

I purchased the transmitter to connect a previously purchased Bluetooth mouse for a laptop, a stereo telephone headset (instead of the old wired one) and a recently purchased universal Bluetooth keyboard to a desktop computer, which I plan to use with both PC and mobile devices. Therefore, I am very pleased with the purchase: the adapter performs its work efficiently, the devices work perfectly, the workplace has become more spacious and comfortable. Conclusion: I recommend to buy if you are…

Pros
  • - Microscopic size, normal price for its quality and features. - Easily and seamlessly installed the drivers from the disk on Win7 x64. - Supports work with Win8. - True indication of characteristics. Yes, it really holds 10 meters in open areas; I have a normal connection through the wall, provided that the adapter is located on the table in the USB hub. If you plug it into the USB input located at the back of the system unit, where, as a rule, there is a lot of metal and wires, then you can count on stable operation within 3-4 meters, but I recommend connecting it so that it is in direct line of sight devices, at least WITHOUT metal barriers. - Bluetooth 4.0 BLE (additional power saving), backward compatible with 2.1, 3.0 standards. I took this particular standard so that all currently known bluetooth profiles are supported, so there should be no problems with interaction with various devices. - Indication of work - barely noticeable blue diodes. They will not irritate with bright blinking throughout the room. With it, I connected a bluetooth keyboard, mouse and headset. Everything works great! The official warranty, which was provided in the store where I bought it, is 2 years.
Cons
  • The maximum data transfer rate is 3Mbps. The maximum distance of the adapter is 10 meters. I assume that the 4.0 BLE standard does not support higher speed and "range" due to economy, so this adapter does not have a very powerful transmitter. Nevertheless, my three devices work together and I have never felt a lack of speed . the question arises: is it necessary to "faster"? As for the range, then it's a matter of individual choice for your "style" of use. By and large, the only thing for which I could need an increased range of the adapter is Skype conversations while moving around the house. But I have a smartphone with Skype and a headset for this. And the quality, efficiency and standard 4.0 are subjectively more important.

The purchase is a failure, very unhappy.

Bought to connect bluetooth headset JBL E55BT. Windows 10 64 bit operating system is installed on the computer. When you connect the headset as headphones, the transmitted sound is excellent, and when connected as a headset, the sound in the headphones is like a bucket and periodically disappears. I fought with this problem for a month, and did not solve it, I bought a wired headset. The driver out of the box does not work at all. Many write a problem in crooked drivers. I thought a huge asus…

Pros
  • the only merit is that USB
Cons
  • low sound quality on bluetooth headset

Got pros: I really like the service in this store. The product works perfectly - the Bluetooth adapter distributes the signal throughout the apartment, without interruptions. Different cons: I bought it for airpods, it was not possible to connect them specifically. But the android phone catches smartly

Terrible product, not worth your money absolutely!

I bought to connect headphones via xiaomi mi bluetooth Audio Receiver to a computer. With the phone, this receiver connects in a couple of seconds without any problems and the sound quality does not drop significantly. With a PC (win 8.1), it connects through this adapter for about half an hour and the connection often breaks, after which you have to connect again, while the sound quality drops sooooo much (approximately to the level of headphones from the fixed price). Installing a more recent

Pros
  • Have not found

Installed without problems. The driver downloaded newer from the site ASUS. During installation, there was a problem with audio interruption in bluetooth headphones. I take off my headphones - everything is fine, put them on - the sound chokes. It turned out that next to this adapter in the next socket was a wi-fi adapter for a wireless mouse. They were in conflict with each other. I plugged it into the USB socket on the keyboard away from it and everything was fine. That is, if you take the…

Cons
  • Beyond the room, the sound transmitted through the adapter begins to be interrupted

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

The coverage radius is completely satisfied, it sticks out behind the monoblock, it is enough to walk around the room and enjoy the sound. Headphones Samsung Level On. Different pros: Great dongle for a reasonable price Availability of one of the latest BT4.0 standards Huge number of connection profiles Cons: It fits tightly into the port, if the port is hard to reach, then picking it out is quite problematic. It would be great if the manufacturer put a 10 cm extension cable, it would make it

The product sucks and the quality is horrible.

The adapter finds devices but does not add them to the list of audio devices. I go to Bluetooth Device Control Connect to the Bluetooth (SRS-XB21) stereo headphones. I click Connect. After a pause, an error is thrown: Error connecting to headset. Please retry this operation. Tried with JBL T450BT headphones and Sony SRS-XB21 speaker. I installed the driver from the disk (version 6513700) and the driver from the site (version 6516000). The result remains the same. All actions were performed on…

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • None of the two audio devices could be connected

This device has a Broadcom chip, so it works without problems and kexts on hackintosh 102022.4 It was determined immediately, but did not find any devices. This chip works natively on Mauritius 10.8.5, on late axes including Sierra, only two numbers need to be fixed, and everything worked like a native. How to start, look for: "Starting the ASUS USB BT400 Bluetooth adapter in Mac OS X 10.8.5 and 102022.1 Hackintosh" This instruction is suitable for the Sierra. The only folder "system" in Siree…

Pros
  • Everything is working! + Hackintosh Sierra also works bluetooth
Cons
  • They are not - the chip is native to OSX. Well, except that they are sold only in two stores.

Not compatible with Windows 7

I was able to install drivers and connect devices, but no audio is connected on my Windows 7 x64 machine. I've searched all over the internet for solutions and this seemed to be common. I spent an hour on the phone with Asus tech support to no avail. Uninstalling and downloading outdated drivers didn't help either. Asus assured me they would increase my claim and call me back within 48 business hours. You are not. I called them and they said they needed more time. A day later they called to ask

Works well. The range is terrible.

I'm not sure why these tiny BT adapters are getting such rave reviews. All the ones I've tried (3 of them so far) have had terrible range. I tested this adapter with my new Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones. I have a Bluetooth adapter in a powered USB 3.0 hub on my desk. 3 meters from my head. Even if I turn my head away from the adapter, the connection breaks. I can barely use my BT mouse either. I ended up having to switch it back to the included radio adapter. And I'm sure it's not just my devices…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • could have chosen a newer model

Does not allow screen sharing because Bluetooth is not supported in low-power peripheral mode. I bought this adapter specifically for this purpose and when your phone's windows told me the error it gave me instructions on what to look for. And here is this device, even with the latest drivers from Asus, showing incorrectly for low-power peripheral mode. so it won't work. If you want to transfer files wirelessly, this works, but it doesn't support aptx, so playing music through some wireless…

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Without insurance

Could never get it to work. Buy Techkey instead.

When I was looking for a Bluetooth adapter, I looked at all the options and thought it would be better to choose Asus, a well-known brand, from all the random brands. After spending over 4 hours on it over several days, I couldn't get this adapter to work. I've followed top review directions, done countless google searches, installed and uninstalled drivers, and nothing I've done has been able to get this thing to work. After the unsuccessful success at Asus, I thought I'd reach for the…

Working with Windows 10

Working with Windows 10 here. Here's the method I used: DRIVER INSTALLATION0) don't connect yet1) Go to the Asus USB-BT400 website to download the latest drivers (updated 4/20/2016) - do so as you can't vouch for the date /version that on disk. 2) Click Support 3) Click Drivers & Tools 4) Select your operating system and download the ZIP file by clicking Global (18MB) 5) Unzip the file (now 45MB unzipped ) and open the folder until you see 2 folders - "Drivers" and "Installer" 6) Open the…

Outdated. in network adapters

Let me start by saying that I'm a programmer and generally technologically intelligent. My friend is a senior infrastructure engineer. He has worked in IT at the enterprise level for over ten years. None of us have been able to get this product to work properly. The latest drivers delivered with the device are from 2014 and obviously contain many bugs in Windows 10 (current version unknown). He worked here and there and was constantly apart. Either way, save your money and buy a new one. Check…

Works like any other key until it stops working. terrible support

Purchased at the end of February last year. Initially it worked fine, like any other Bluetooth dongle in this price range. Bonus points because it can connect two devices at the same time. Now the dongle started dropping connections to devices shortly after plugging it in. When I contacted Asus support, I was surprised at the difficult ASUS return process for a cheap device that I was able to buy from a number of other sellers. Their phone support is a joke. The call lasted 28 minutes and on…

Pros
  • USB 2.0, up to 3 Mbps and more than 10 meters of free space
Cons
  • Other Other

Absolute rubbish. I paid $15 for it in April 2019. As of December 2019, it's now $7. It would still be a $1 plagiarism. I plugged it into the USB port on the front of my full-size PC case, exactly 19 inches off the bottom. My Xbox and PS4 controllers work fine via USB cables. Wireless connection via Bluetooth, they work great in front of that key or even on the side. The moment the controller, also held at a height of 19 inches, crosses the side of the button, I lose 100% of the signal and the…
