Very cute prints. I chose this set because it allows me to converse/teach vocabulary about food, animals and transport. There are a few shapes that don't make much sense, but overall most of them are recognizable and easy to use! The threads are not tied at the bottom so the beads just fall off. I ended up tying a bead to each strand so my 18 meter toddler could thread the beads without them falling off. So far, so good.

My 18 month old granddaughter loves this toy. That teaches her a lot. Learning colors, shapes, animal names, fruits, vegetables and weaving. She brings me the item before trying to thread it so I can tell her what it is and if it's an animal we try to make an animal sound. My 3 year old grandson likes it too but not as much as my granddaughter. He'll sit with us and thread "beads" and he's happy to tell me what that thing is. I bought this set for beads. It comes in a resealable plastic bag in a drawstring pouch. The pearls are processed neatly, everything is smooth, without sharp edges. There are 4 strings, most often laces with a wooden "needle" for threading. To be honest I don't know how long they will outlive my kids but I bought this set because of the beads. Beads are quite nice, light weight smooth wood with nice clear images and smooth holes for threading silk ribbon. Compared to regular pearls, they are slightly larger, about 1 to 2 inches overall and about 3/4 inch thick. My 3 year old granddaughter loved playing with it. I really like this bead set. At the end of each thread are wooden sticks that make it easier for little fingers to thread the bead onto the thread. At the other end of each string is a tip (like the end of a shoelace) which can be used to give you another practice of fine motor skills as the tip is thinner than a stick and requires a little more concentration and dexterity than wooden ends.
