Feels like luxury! - my new review

This is what SHOULD have been installed by BMW in the first place. Very soft to the touch. It was easy to install (Girl here, installed in about 15 minutes bc I kept dropping the screw), and looks stunning. My husband is jealous bc I opted to DIY and the door handle of his 428i convertible is still sticky. Needless to say. We will be ordering him one as well. Great buy!

Easy to install! best in my review

This was a great find! I didn't even know this part could be replaced. My passengers always complained about the stickiness and it was disgusting to the touch. You don't even have to worry about matching the tone of leather as it is only the plastic handle that gets replaced. The leather panel piece is removed from the old handle and snapped on to the new handle. Make sure you have a T10 and T20 star screwdriver and a panel pryer tool.

Well made but installation is a challenge

The product is well build and fits well like original OEM part. However the installation is difficult and requires special tools. There is no mention of it in the informational installation video, which shows the installation to be deceptively simple. First, you need to have star shaped screw driver attachment for removing the screws. Secondly, attaching lower screw is very tricky and will take time. BMW OEM replacement was $112.

2012 BMW X5. The part is hard molded plastic and not the softer texture of the OEM BMW replacement (IMO). But for $19.99 I am very well pleased. No one will ever know it's not an original BMW door pull because the leather piece covers this part. Fitment was perfect and installation took less than 15 minutes. Recommend a plastic trim pry bar set (like ARES 70223) to carefully remove the leather cover and then you'll need torx sockets for the pull handle mounting screws. This part is a great…

15 minute installation and looks great!

Wow. This was a 15 minute installation and I’m so happy with the outcome. As recommended, I watched two short YouTube tutorials by searching "BMW X5 door handle”. Both videos used door panel prying tools, which I did not have, so I used a wide flathead screwdriver instead (the scuff marks on the leather handle were there before installation and were not caused from the screwdriver). Worked great - my new review

This worked great for our 2010 BMW X5d, a perfect fit. Watch one of the installation videos on the internet. I did buy a panel removal kit here at Revain that does not damage the parts to take the unit apart. It make the job much easier. You could probably us a screwdriver but might mar some of the parts.

Easily Fixes One BMW Design Fail

This product was easy to install and corrected a DESIGN FAIL known to BMW; door handles that melt/become sticky and gooey to the touch. So gross! Wish we had discovered these sooner!

Perfect fit and good quality

Husband put this in for me and he said it was very easy. My original handle had a rubbery substance that started melting (weird) and we bought this as a replacement. Perfect fit and easy to install.

Great replacement handle

The product is a great replacement handle for my X5. It did take a bit to remove old handle but total time was 15 mins Could interfere with window or mirror controls if not installed properly.

Easy install ! good for me

Just installed these, so longevity is not clear yet. Easy to install. Pop the cover off, three torx screws later the new one is on. Cover can be a little tricky, be patient. 10 min tops per side.

Happy BMW owner - my new review

This aftermarket part is equal to or better than the OEM at 1/4 the cost. It literally took 10 minutes to remove and replace. It almost took longer to find my torx bits.

fits like oem good for me

this is great. my handle has been sticky and cheese soft for a while. wish i knew about this sooner. it uses original 3 screws 2 Torx 20 and 1 Torx 10. you just pry off the leather cover and boom 3 screews and done on an E70 bmw. much easier than what i saw on youtube for other bmw models that u have to remove the door panel. no need for that on my 2010.

💯 worth it. Solves the sticky tar yucky issue immediately

I could not stand getting into our BMW sticky handle. The mechanic told my husband about ordering this on Revain. Anyone that Ik that has this issue agrees it should have been a recall. We shouldn’t of had to order anything. This has been solved. I do not regret purchasing this part. Sticky black tar substance drove me crazy. Love this 💯

Fits like a glove! best in my review

I ordered this for my 2013 X5. I’ve ordered a total of 3 for passenger front right and both rear doors. These are replaced easily and the fit and look is pretty spot on to OEM and replaces the nasty gooey original ones. Definitely recommended.

My door handle looks awesome!

I am so happy they even make this piece. Every time someone got into my car they would be upset because the rubber on my door was all sticky/gooey and deteriorated. I looked up in Revain to see if it’s even a part you can replace. It was easily replaced and extremely reasonable price! The quality is like the original too. Thank you once again Revain!

No more sticky handle!

I slipped the old one off and the new one on and viola.no more sticky door handle. It was easy to do and is the most noticeable unnoticeable thing I have done to my truck. Everyone hated getting the stickies when they closed my door and recently someone got in and paused then noticed.no sticky handle. Great replacement.

Great color match! good for me

Feels nice, color match was great, super easy install.You need a plastic pry tool, a t20 torx with at least a 4 inch (100mm) extension, and a t10 torx.Pry the leather cover off the outside. It is heald on by 11 plastic hooks. Firm but gentle prying will get it off. Then remove the two t20's and the single t10 screw. Pull the handle out of the door panel (there is a small plastic hook/tab on the top of the handle that takes a little yank to get to come out. Install is opposite, make sure all the

The new door handle covers are of the highest quality and appear to be VERY robust. They look GREAT as the Carbon Fibre really adds a touch of class.
