I bought this to have my two children with chronic breathing problems on hand. I have a Welch Allyn Vital machine, but it's not exactly portable. It was great for checking her oxygen saturation when I'm not entirely sure if her meds are reducing it. An added bonus is that my mom can come by to check her heart rate so she can know if her atrial fibrillation is active or if she just has a rapid pulse. Anything I need to avoid unnecessary trips to the doctor or emergency room is worth a lot to me!

Good product! ECG derivation accurate

great product! The ECG lead is accurate, but only if you hold the device without moving. Any slight movement changes the reading, but so does a professional 12-lead ECG. You can store information - 100 reads - with no monthly maintenance or fees. You can also connect it to your mobile device via the app. This device accurately measures heart rate, heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature. It also has a pedometer function, but I haven't used it yet. If the price makes you hesitant to buy this,

I have been using it for five days now and I am satisfied with the ekg leadII track and will keep it for further testing. With a PA background this is especially useful for me when I want to see the rhythm strip, I have bouts of atrial fibrillation. I can distinguish between normal sinus rhythm and irregular rhythm, particularly the irregular-irregular rhythm that accompanies atrial fibrillation. Besides how well this works for the ME (given what I know about EKG plotting), it's not at all…

My cardiologist had just adjusted some of my medications due to spikes in blood pressure and low heart rate so I had already bought a blood pressure monitor, Oxypulse and a new Kardia EKG machine when I came across Bodymetry from the unfortunate case on the search. I'll admit I was a little confused by the price and couldn't find any reviews or documentation other than a quick start guide and a hardly trustworthy QVC video. (!) But Amazon does a great job with returns and I thought I'd take a…

  • Alright!
Cons
  • Good but not great

My cardiologist was impressed with the ECG graph, but dammit, he's sensitive. Your fingers must be properly positioned and *absolutely* still, and you must stay away from electrical interference (wiring, lights, radios, cars, etc.). A pulse oximeter is poorly designed and almost never gives good readings as it is also very sensitive to finger position and will not work when external light hits the sensor. The collection interval is fixed at 20 seconds per graph, so it is not suitable for…

Nice little device

It's not as good as a lead EKG monitor, but it's a very good device for the price. I got it so I can record my random irregular heartbeats to show my cardiologist and it serves the purpose. There is a free app that can be downloaded onto your tablet and BodiMetrics sends the data to the app via Bluetooth. The app allows you to send tracks to your photo folder. From there you can print them like photos. I AirDrop them onto my desktop computer and then print them out on my printer. It's also a…

Does what they say and the support is top notch.

What made me order the machine was that a week before ordering I was in my early 40's and had weird chest cramps that lasted for several days when my grandfather died of heart problems He was quite old in mine Dude, so my wife said to go in and have my heart checked. She's about to finish her FNP so I figured I'd better listen to her so I went and spent the day in the ER checking the EKG, blood work and all. I came out clean with no heart issues. The doctor finally told me that I only had a…
