BOHS Dollhouse Furnitures Wooden Puzzle Review

Was great putting this together with my daughter as she enjoys all types of puzzles. However, some pieces were not pre-cut and as a result many of them broke while being cut, resulting in some of the furniture being discarded. My only suggestion is to better pre-cut each piece.

These are very cute pieces made from very light wood. I liked the assembly. Wood can break very easily under too much pressure. I recommend marking the piece numbers on or near the wood pieces as there are 4 leaf pieces. Note: Two pieces of furniture had details on separate sheets. I also found that using an emery board worked better than the sandpaper that came with the kit. There are many pieces of furniture for the price. Overall I am very satisfied with the product.

It was quite difficult to collect. TERRIBLE guide. You're pretty much on your own there. I thought my granddaughter (she is 9 years old) and I could do this together and she could paint the furniture and use it in her Calico Critter house. It didn't work out the way I had planned. I was surprised to see so many bad reviews and wonder if the product is a little different. the one i received was very well made (especially for the price) and NONE of my pieces broke even after pushing a few of them pretty hard to get them together. Collected with granddaughters. (8 and 12 years) There is some difficulty separating the pieces from the boards, a few pieces broke. You will receive 4 boards, one piece of advice, keep the parts of each board together but separate from each other. I use them as an ESL teacher to teach my elementary school students furniture names, rooms etc. We (probably mostly me) had a blast putting it together. The student who helped is very oriented towards this type of activity so he thought it was fun too. I think it would be great to use them instead of photos to teach this section. I bought this for our 6 year old daughter to make together and it was a lot of fun and creative! Firstly, if you press too hard when assembling, especially the chair parts, they will break, so you have to be careful, but the broken parts hold up well after I used gorilla glue to attach them.
