💡 Boling BL-P1: Powerful 12W RGB On-Camera Video Light with OLED Screen and 360° Support System Review

This is a great compact RGB LED light from Boling. It's smaller than my phone but puts out a lot of light. If you are a food blogger, vlogger or just need a battery powered LED flashlight then this is for you. I think I need a few more for some of our travel shoots.

I like the color rendering and the diffuse emission of the LED. Goes well with skin tones. The only downside is that the function select button is broken or no longer pressed so I now have a minimal function LED that can only heat and cool. I would love to give 5 stars but the fact that the button was broken was a disappointment.

I need something small and bright for those times when ambient light just isn't enough. This is fully compliant. It's about the size of a large cell phone in a case. Very small and surprisingly bright. Also, the colors seem pretty accurate. 5000K is a beautiful white color. I also have a dual color Dracast LED which is 4x larger but not as bright and looks warmer at 5000K. The build quality feels premium and the metal bracket is a welcome addition. .I plan to buy another one (or two or three)…

Build quality seems very solid, the mount makes it easy to point the device at the camera the way you want it want. Light quality is good, as bright as you would expect from something of this size. There's an excess range of 2500-8500K on white, and RGB colors are pretty decent. It's easy to pick the right color (and there's a guide on the back to help you). Adding multiple effects is good.
