Very easy to set up, works as it should. I would recommend holding the button down all the time during the initial setup. Because it uses a factory key, the part of the lock is slightly larger compared to other devices. but a good compromise to have one less key IMO.

Not sure if this will fit or fit my 2018 4runner as the Bolt website only lists pre 2016 models. I tried it and it really works. He recognized my key without any problems. The pin was long enough to accept a factory double wall clutch. It's great that you don't have to carry another key with you.

I have a caravan that already fits five different keys - the last thing I wanted was to add another key to the mix. With the BOLT, I was able to bind it to the truck key as easily as inserting and twisting the truck key into the BOLT lock. I also bought a BOLT hitch lock to tie back to my truck key. So comfortable!

Love that it fits newer Toyota Tacoma trucks, same key for tailgate lock locks this lock. Nice lock, I bought this to deter a thief from stealing my receiver hitch. Works great as the quality of the product works well for the application. Good product for the money, works great for what was intended.

I was skeptical at first, but it's nice not to worry if you lose the original key. Works great on my 2010 Tundra which has been hard to find for long enough. Literally 4 seconds per key and it works with all my keys, new or old. The only caveat is the bend isn't as sharp and sits a little far in the hole but doesn't affect towing or oil alignment.

This is great! No more searching for trailer keys. Positive but also negative is that these things fit HERE! Installing a roof rack, bike rack, etc. can involve quite a bit of work. Putting the receiver on is fairly easy, but heavier items may take a while to snap into place. At the same time, the vibration is noticeably lower when the pen is put on, since the pen retracts very firmly.

I bought some padlocks from Bolt so I knew what to expect. Over a few years of service, strapping my bikes to different racks, they've held up great. Therefore, considering the durability and quality of Bolt padlocks, I decided to replace the clutch pin on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler with a Bolt padlock. No problems setting up the key - and so far it fits and works great. Now I don't have to worry about storing separate keys for the padlock and hitch lock.
