Bought for my new 1940 Bissell Powerfresh. Sorry I bought 8 pads! They are over 1 inch smaller than the original Bissell pads. The material is thin and not very absorbent. I can understand other buyers saying they are torn and not lasting. Stretching those flimsy, ill-fitting pads against the mop head certainly puts even more stress on the flimsy material. NOT A GOOD SUBSTITUTE. NOT A GOOD PURCHASE AS THEY WEAR OUT VERY QUICKLY.

The steam broom comes with a "smooth" and a "rough" fabric cover. To clean countertops you may have to wait for the head to wash or continue to use a dirty mop head. I do not recommend buying these pads. I've had a Bissell steam mop for 4 or 5 years now and love it, but I needed new pads and decided to try these as they were a bit cheaper.
