Borla 11750 Rear Section 'S-Type' System Exhaust: Unleash Optimal Performance Review

What a difference compared to the fluffy GT500 stock exhaust. I trust Borla quality as this is my second purchase for my second car. You can't go wrong with spikes

Great product. Except that the Revain website insists it doesn't fit my 2009 Shelby GT500 car. If Revain gets it right (matches the car) they might sell more Borla. I contacted Borla directly and they assured me that the 11750 would fit my Mustang perfectly. It fits perfectly and sounds great.

I added long headers and an X-pipe to my '08 Mustang GT which in the past had the muffler removed. The live transmission was too loud, it was above the dB limit on the drag strip. I installed these Borla spikes quickly (only an hour and a half including trimming off old tips). They sound great and the setup was absolutely perfect. Also came with a Borla hat! Didn't expect that.

I was very pleased with the muscle car sound of these mufflers. Very little or no hum. Before installing Borlas I was using Flowmasters. Even though the Flowmasters hum at certain speeds, I sometimes still miss the sound of the Flowmasters idling. I guess it's normal for a Mustang owner to be dying to try something different after years of using one brand of muffler lol. I am very happy with Borla.

I really like them, they gave me the sound I was looking for with just the right amount of noise but not too much! My husband and I installed them on my Mustang GT 08 and the only tricky part was removing my old ones, the new ones were very easy to install and I highly recommend removing the exhaust hangers from the old exhaust then removing the hangers and them to attach to. on new pipes makes the new installation much easier!
