I bought 1mm and 1.5mm not knowing exactly what thickness I want and 1mm was ok. Surprisingly, the clasp stays at the back when worn. They usually slide around to be visible. I don't know why it doesn't work. Maybe it's the pendant that hangs from it, or the length. IDK, but I'm very happy. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of shine. It's not boring and certainly doesn't stop me from wearing it every day, but what it replaced had a slight sheen to it due to the way the links were cut. I

I bought this as a replacement chain for a prized silver pendant. It is even better than the original chain. Came packed in a pretty bag. I would definitely buy this again.

I needed a simple chain to replace the one the dog broke. Did this one work? I like the lobster clasp - it's easier for me to use.

This is not real silver. It sticks to a magnet. False advertising. Impossible to give as intended. When I messaged the seller, he just said "sorry".

The lobster claw broke when first put on and then the clip broke when taken off. You can see the wire popping out. I liked the weight of the chain.

I would not recommend this necklace for regular use at all, I was thinking of returning mine as it is very fragile and not durable at all. I received this as a replacement necklace for another necklace that I wear every day and I don't think this necklace fits the role.

It was a beautiful necklace. It probably would have held up fine, but the locking ring was already bent when the 1st opened. Didn't want to risk it for long. Returned.

I bought it 9 months ago, at first I liked it, I wore it all the time. About a month ago I noticed it was getting darker, I tried a toothbrush with soap and water then some toothpaste but then a big green ring formed around my neck. I didn't think Sterling Silver would pull it off. I will never wear, order or recommend again. Very disappointed!

My chain lasted about 6 months and broke last night. Luckily I was able to catch the spell before I lost it. I was hesitating between 3 and 4 stars...it did the job and I think I've worn it down at least a bit over the course of a few months. I haven't had as many issues as with other chains, down to the point of getting my hair caught. Not bad but I think you get what you pay for.

I wore it for the first time of course, I was before the return window within a few days and it broke. I held the clasp and it broke right on the link in front of the clasp. Even the slightest effort to open it was too much for him.

Everything was fine until it accidentally broke and I lost the charm. I don't recommend this unless it's a really cheap baby necklace or a charm you don't want to lose.

At first I was happy that the chain matched the pendant I bought. However, every time I tried to attach a small, not heavy pendant to this chain, it fell off. When I finally (a week later) tried to remove the chain, it broke into 3 pieces! I am deeply disappointed and hope future customers are aware of this issue.

I started buying from this company after I had to replace a necklace with another necklace I had bought and then I just kept buying necklaces from here just to add pendants and they never disappoint. I sleep in my necklaces and shower in some of them too and they hold up great

The chain is fine. But the clasp is tiny, as is the ring at the other end of the chain! It is so small that it is difficult to use. I had to buy a large clasp and jump ring on the ends of the chain. Wasn't happy with it.

Should have gone with size 1.5, 1.0 is very petite and thin. It's beautiful and would make a good gift but I'm afraid to use it on the pendant I bought it for. I will order 1.5 and do another check.

I bought 2 and they are exactly as described. Given the size listed, I knew they would be delicate. I like their clasp, the quality is much better than thinner chains.

I tried 4 sterling silver necklaces just to find one that could handle my long hair that my patients and daughter drag around all day and finally found one. Not only is it durable, but it is of high quality and the right length. Nor should I sacrifice the elegance of the necklace for strength. I got a lot of compliments for that. I liked it so much I ordered another one and they both look great with my two diamond pendants.

This chain replaced the much thinner chain I wore on an amulet I wore every day. It still looks fragile enough but has a lot more power.

If you have chubby hands or are of a certain age, it may take many minutes for the chain release latch to open. I suffer from both.
